nyc: I want to go to NYC, I am coming from Philadelphia. Excluding Amtrak and Greyhound, what is the fastest way to get to NYC? I'm interested in all public transportation options - SEPTA, NJ Transit, PATH, etc.|||Kitty, take SEPTA Regional Rail's R7 Line from Philadelphia-30th Street to Trenton, NJ. Once in Trenton, transfer to NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor Line, which will take you from the Trenton to Penn Station in NYC. The trip take about 2 hours and fare and the round trip off peak fare on SEPTA will cost you $15 and $25 on NJ Transit ($12.50 each way).
