Looking for a place in NYC to be inspired, contemplate, observe amazing architecture and peaceful nature in NYC, like my beloved spot in SF.|||Two suggestions: Bethesda Fountain in Central Park - and the Central Park Mall. Brooklyn Botanic Garden/ Brooklyn Museum/ Prospect Park. (These are adjacent to each other) take 2 or 3 train to Grand Army Plaza or Eastern Parkway. The Garden has a nice Japanese Garden, smaller than the one near the Palace of Fine Arts, but its very nice. The Museum has The McKim, Mead & White building with a great public space at its entrance. The park has many places that you might like.
