nyc: I need to take part in a "religious experience" for my religion class and it has to be one of a religion other than my own (catholic). If anybody has any good suggestions of something unique/fun/interesting please let me know! Literally any religion! I go to school in NYC so I'm looking for something here. Thank you!|||Try visiting Williamsburg or Borough Park, Brooklyn for the Hasidic Jewish religion. Lots of synagogues, and you can see how they live, dress, the traditions, etc..Maybe you can speak to a rabbi and visit a Yeshivah (school) there also. Also, Kings Highway area near the B train line is a good area the view this. A lot of the people speak Yiddish, so there may be a language barrier.
